Phil's Auto Repair

"I've had good experiences with Phil but I'm not even sure this place is open anymore. I've been by several times in the last 2 weeks and called several times buts is been closed each time. Does anyone know if Phil is still in business?"

"I cannot say if this is a good mechanic, but what I can say is not flattering. I have just recently relocated to Marshfield and needed a vehicle inspection done to tag my car. On Monday, I visited this shop and was told that he would have no time to do a 4 minute inspection until Wednesday. I returned Wednesday morning at 9:00 and was told that he only did inspections at 8:30. I'm not sure if I reminded him of someone he didn't like or he's going through some stuff or what, but he as rather rude. It could be that he just doesn't like doing inspections. If that is the case, maybe he should take the sign down. Not sure, but his rudeness and lack of interest in doing business with me has lost my business before he ever earned it. Thanks for nothing."

"Was friendly and worked with me and a time that I could pick it up. (I had a crazy schedule at that time) He trusted me to leave a check for his service when I picked up my car. "The folks here were absolutely wonderful. They heard my problem (spark plug misfires which gave me concern I might not be able to get home on my cross country trip from vegas to Michigan) and cracked away at the fix, being extremely hospitable, letting me walk my dog around out back while I waited, and heck, they offered me coffee but I didnt have a mug unfortunately! Just overall great people, very modest prices compared to bigger shops, fine work done, and i would recommend them to anyone!"

"I wanted to take the time and recommend Phil's Auto Repair. My husband and I were passing through and we had car trouble. We explained our situation to Phil and he was able to fix it. Even with his busy schedule he was able to squeeze us in to get us on the road quickly. Can't express how thankful we are since we still had 1,000 miles to travel. He is professional, and friendly. We are lucky to have found him and the town is lucky to have a business like his."
