Thank God for the Uptown Cheapskates staff, Chelsi in particular. She was my saving grace and fashion guru! She helped me navigate the trends, figure out what my daughters actually needed, and even stopped me from buying some items that didn't go with my daughter's style. You made a normally unbearable experience into an exceptional one. Uptown Cheapskates, you guys are the best for clueless dads like me."

"So I’ve seen lots of bad reviews of this place, but I had an amazing experience! I was at In-N-Out in about 15 minutes! When I came in, I asked where the tops and bottoms were for men, and I was directed to the area! I found three things that I wanted. I tried them on and person helped me. I checked out pretty quickly and signed up to the loyalty program. Everyone I spoke with was really nice! Bonus I got two cool outfits and I’m a big guy!"

"I just brought in a bin of clothes tonight 2/11/24 they took one pair of croc sandals for $4 which cost about $60 in store or anywhere else… my basket of clothes was not looked through.. Everything was in the exact same spot… This place is a literal joke might as well go to Plato’s closet!! Only reason I didn’t was because they were closed for the day. Half of the stuff I had was never even worn. It’s a used clothing store things aren’t going to be in perfect condition but even still my stuff was. I work in a clothing store as well. Really confused on why they wouldn’t take these? Like hmm they’re a good basic, no damage, a decent brand, and never worn by me, they were bought from Plato’s which is a used store as well… like I said Plato’s was closed it’s just disappointing to have had the experience I did."
