"I never leave bad reviews because I realize everyone has a bad day once in a while, but I have given this business the benefit of the doubt too many times now. You would think people accepting donations would be a little bit more helpful. I don't even care it they don't say thank you. I don't need a thank you. However, when I pull up to the back door and it's obvious the workers are trying to "look" busy so they didn't have to help is maddening. And this has happpened on multiple occassions. The last time I dragged my stuff to the picnic table sitting outside only to have the guy yell at me I needed to bring them into the building. Did he offer to help? NO. And no, I don't bring junk. I only bring items that I know are going to sell. I never bring broken, stained, old items. I'm in my 50's and do not have much upper body strength so if you can't find workers to help out a little, I will not be donating here anymore."

"I love browsing the Salvation Army store in downtown Joplin, MO! Recently it seems as they have been doing a better job of keeping the store organized and stock is replenished several times a day. Sales on colored tags are ran daily for 2 colors and about once a month they will do a 50% off everything during a weekend. For this sale you will need to follow their Facebook page for notifications. Employees are very nice here and Mike does an excellent job of running this store! "Found an old, small pressure cooker with the time gauge on it for under $6. The rubber gasket was inside and intact! 15 lb weight was inside, too. Can't wait to use it."
