"I was just at this Dollar General in Aurora and my 6 year old was carrying his basket and knocked a $5 canister off the shelf and the manager was VERY hateful and I asked her if I need to but it and she said “you can if you want”, then I said Am I technically supposed to buy it? Because I didn’t want to get in trouble for just walking out, and she said yes technically you are supposed to..... Why not tell me that in the first place? And I don’t even know if I really should have paid for it due to it being an accident, it could have been sticking out to the side for all I know! Then as I was getting ready to pay she THROWS it into the trash can and says “well that was a nice canister”!"
