"Waitress was extremely rude when we walked in to ask for a table, said it would be 45 min before anyone would get our drinks. The place wasn't busy at all! There were 2 servers, which I understand can be alot however no need to be rude and slam menus down when people walk in. Have been coming here for many years and we will not be back!"

"Flat Creek is the Undisputed champion of food in Southwest Missouri. I lived in TN for a spell and trust me they know fried foods. But Flat Creek @ Cape Fair takes everything to new level. Portions are big - so go hungry. Love the atmosphere and the waitstaff were great. We had fried chicken, burger, grilled salmon, shrimp, catfish - batter was best since my pappy used his fried spice special recipe. And 1 pound slice of carrot cake! Cape Fair location is not far from water with a view and short walk down and see folks fishin for Spoonbills. Kids got a kick out of seeing one."

"My family and I were looking to explore Table Rock Lake. We booked an RV Rental to be set up at Cape Fair Camp Ground. Since we had our three dogs with us I searched ahead of time for activities they could do with us. I came across this marina restaurant that said they allowed dogs on the patio. I planned this as one of our activities. When we arrived at the Cape Fair Camp Ground and located our camping spot, we right away noticed this The Dock Side Cafe literally inside the campground. I had no idea it was that close. We quickly walked the Marina with our dogs and came across the general store, pet friendly boat rentals, ice cream parlor, and cafe. Everyone was so nice to our very large pets, especially the owners that quickly greeted them and made sure they had water available. The food was amazing! Very large portions and many items to choose from. This made our stay at the camp ground a very easy one. We were able to get everything we needed, eat amazing dinners, treat ourselves to sweet treats, and rent a boat for play all while bringing our fur babies with us! If you love your puppies as much as we do, this marina makes for a great vacation."
