"Fraud, scam, used car salesman tactics are words I would use to describe this place. They claim emergency services but once you there you find out that it only means they will see you that day! They ask you how much pain you are in, how bad is it? To tell you, you will be " treated" next week! They do all kinds of things you specifically tell them NOT TO. And write up elaborate treatment plans that run 12k to 25k and try to get you sign on for it and cut financial papers on it. AVOID THIS PLACE"
"My family member had a HORRIBLE experience. Aspen Dentals business model is bring in new customers and once they’re in, provide them with zero quality of care. Their staff forgot to call in pre surgery medication properly which pushed the initial extraction appointment out. This sent my family member to the pharmacy 4 times before they finally called it in right. Then, after telling my family they would put my family member under, they lied, and did not & didn’t even warn her. They gave her a Xanax for anxiety and NOT a pain pill, so they lied to her about what medication they provided to her. They did numbing injections instead of anesthesia & she could feel every single tooth extracted! She was so sick for 3 weeks & the staff kept screwing up the pain medication prescription for 2 weeks, so she went without pain meds. She’s gone for follow ups & the dentist is a jerk!! I feel so bad for my family member & their service just keeps treating her like she’s a pain in their side. GET ALL TREATMENT SIGNED OFF ON! Do not fall for their nicey nice greedy and unprofessional behavior, they will lie to you. My family member could have had an infection & they would have told her to go to the ER because their business hours are basically Part timers. They are closed all of the time. They lack empathy & shouldn’t be in the business."
"I was going to leave this blank but I should warn people instead. This location does not communicate all billing details to their customers. I had service done to my teeth in April of 2023 and was told the amount owed would be charged to a third party service called Synchrony Care Credit. I was told I could pay off the amount over 18 months and I agreed to that. What I was not told was that the bill would be split into two parts. The amount I was told was overdue, six months later on 12/11/23, was not included in the payment plan discussed and I was never informed of the change in agreement. I was only informed through a phone call on 12/11/23 that there was an amount overdue and I could pay if off in pieces. I tried calling back several times since then and was either ignored or put to voice mail immediately, leaving me no option to pay the fine I was told was overdue. Luckily, I checked the paper mail I received a few weeks ago and found the paper statement that was sent 5 months late. This was never told to me in any way and I have yet to receive an answer since. Know this place is only going to be trouble, I paid the amount but have reported this business to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office of Kansas. I do not expect any resolution from this but wish to let you all know that this place needs drastic improvement with communicating to their customers. Avoid this place until that may or may not happen. I do not hold any ill will to the dentists. This is entirely the management I am disappointed in."
"Had an appointment rescheduled after being cancelled on day of. I arrived at an appointment at 4:45 for a simple teeth cleaning. Appointment was supposed to be at 5PM. Did not get taken back until 5:45 PM. I had multiple rounds of Xrays taken, and was sat in a chair and told that someone would be in for the teeth cleaning shortly. After almost 45 minutes, and being assured multiple times it'd be "just a second more," I was told at 7:05 PM that they were closing and would not have my teeth cleaned. They then asked for me to reschedule. It is as if they didn't want to start another task, and stalled until closing time so that they could avoid the work. I won't be returning here, and I wouldn't recommend anyone schedule an appointment until the owners take the opportunity to rectify the numerous issues mentioned in this and other 1 star reviews. There are simply too many other options that won't leave you waiting 2 hours at a rescheduled appointment, only to not even start the work you came in to have done. There is a good chance you'll be asked to reschedule, or if you do show up you might spend multiple hours just to be told to reschedule again. Edit: Owner responded with the same copy/paste word vomit they threw at other bad reviews. Until they ACTUALLY make changes, I'm going to assume its just an automated reply by a robot."
"Staff is friendly and polite. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I originally started my treatment with this dentist office in June 2023. My treatment plan was for extraction, immediate denture and bone shaving. I was told that I would have my immediate dentures in a week the same day as extraction which was very important to me for work purposes. The extraction process went fine. The immediate dentures would not fit in my mouth they looked like they belonged to a horse. The dentist kept trying to shove them in my mouth and finally said we will have to make you more. So I was told to come back in a week for new set. Only to find out that there was a misunderstanding between dental office and lab technician. I was told to come back in a couple weeks and promised that they would be ready. I full paid in advance. Long story short I went yesterday to get my dentures my appointment was at 4:40 I got a confirmation email then a day later the email was for 5:00. Which I was used to this office moving you appt to whatever suits them not taking into consideration the fact that you are loosing time from work. They tried to tell me my appointment was at 5:45 pm. I waited patiently because I have taken off work for 15 appointments and ended up leaving with no dentures and asking for a refund. Not one time did this dentist or office manager ever try to address my issue it seemed like they purposely ignored or avoided me. The worst experience I ever had with a dentist. I was under the impression they had a lab on-site. I am not sure but they are very inexperienced with fitting you for dentures or making dentures. Please explore your options before buying at this dentist."
