"Went here on a weeknight last month and it seemed very low key even though they have a full bar and plenty of seating. I wasn’t paying attention to prices but we got a variety of 8 tacos plus salsa, grilled peppers and onions for about $20. Would definitely come back again."

"I grew up in Texas and can be picky about Mexican food this far north. Los Altos Jalisco is really solid, especially for the money. $12 got me dinner for the night plus breakfast the next morning. Food is spicy but not so spicy that it masks the flavor. The beef was pretty good, but they have a lot of meat options and since I live less than a mile away I'll definitely be back to try them all. 9/10 grade A food would strongly recommend."

"There’s not much to say other than this is the best taco spot in all of KC. After 20+ visits, I still wouldn’t rate this place under a 4-5. Great prices, bjg servings, great side plates full of limes, grilled onions, salsa, etc. The wait time is never over 15 minutes long. This is a perfect spot for people wanting to dine in for some authentic Mexican cuisines."

"Atmosphere pretty good. Definitely should move away from paper plates but it is what it is. Open till about 11 which is nice after soccer at 9th and van brunt. Be careful w the area but you should be fine."

We are used to street Tacos and we haven’t had a street Taco in KC THIS good! True authentic Mexican street tacos. Made me feel like I was thousands of miles back at home while eating here, which made my Latina heart so happy."
