"Gates staff were incredibly kind when we went to pick up the order when we accidentally had pick up set for the next day. They were accommodating and very quick in finishing our food and the location was very easy to get to. The location can be busy at times and unfortunately they didn’t provide sauces, they only gave one for 5 whole meals. Besides that very good."

"Pretty enjoyable experience overall. Food was ordered quickly and served fast, even with a line. I like being able to see a well-run kitchen in action, always cool. Food was good. My burnt ends sandwich was tasty and filling, Mac and cheese was okay but not my favorite. Still solid though. Staff was helpful, especially to a guy like me who doesn’t live in KC, hadn’t been in before, and was not entirely sure of the process. Checked on me to make sure I was doing okay. Solid meal overall, glad I stopped in."

"I was pleased with everything from the moment I walked in. The employees were extremely courteous and friendly. The food smelled so delicious I could taste it from the parking lot! They had a lunch sandwich special called the Nooner. It came with fries and your choice of sauce. A great sandwich and a great price. I would highly recommend you try this Kansas City staple."
