"Great breakfast food. I eat there at least twice a week. Great menu. Traditional bacon, eggs, fried potatoes w/onions and toast is prepared perfectly every time. This may sound werd, but their multi-grain toast is to die for. I understand it is made special for the First Watch franchises. Also, they NEVER let your coffee run out. Good job, First Watch!!!"
"First time in Kansas City and was looking for a brunch spot to eat. This place came highly recommended. Hostess was very friendly and seated us. Out waitress was very knowledgeable a d friendly. She took our drink orders , we both tried the pear punch. It was amazing. It's also a limited time. I ordered the Elevated Egg Sandwich and guess what it tasted truly delicious. Made up of over medium egg, avacado, cheese, bacon and something else I know I'm missing. But trust me you can't go wrong if you order this. It also came with seasoned home fries. My wife ordered the smoke salmon and vegetable friattata. With a side of cheesy grits... it was absolutely amazing. She loved it. And I believe her bc she let me sample a test and baybeee.... omg.. you have to try this. Anyway everything was awesome and reasonably priced. We actually went back the next day for some more goodness only at a different location and it did not fail to bring the deliciousness.... Highly recommend"
"My mother and I headed into the restaurant for breakfast and were shown to a table. Just before we took our seats, my mom inquired if there was a booth available. The waitress then snatched the menus from the table with one of them ending up on the floor, which she didn't bother to pick up. She then slammed the remaining menus she was holding onto our new table. In addition, she nearly collided with my mom as she swung around so fast to walk away. This was the rudest experience we've ever had at a restaurant. We took a moment to process what had just happened and decided to leave. Unsurprisingly, the guy waiter at the front didn't even attempt to inquire about what had gone wrong. Furthermore, we wondered whether the menu the waitress had flung to the floor had been cleaned off or simply handed to the next guest! I used to place weekly pickup orders from this place on my way to work during weekdays, but I stopped after this incident. Given the crowded breakfast competition in Johnson County, you would expect First Watch to make a concerted effort to retain the few customers they have left. Fortunately, following this unpleasant experience, my mother and I went to Snooze, where we received exceptional customer service and enjoyed great food. 5 Stars for Snooze, none for First Watch Gretchen Weiner."
"It was our first time at this location and we had a great experience. It is a little smaller than some locations but we were seated right away at noon on a Saturday. They even have a small shaded patio outside. We didn’t know First Watch had breakfast cocktails but decided to have the berry sangria. It was good but a little sweet. The traditional breakfast came with choice of meat and bread. I ordered the turkey sausage, which was a little dry. Also, the gluten free bread was rock hard and crumbled with each bite. However, the meal overall was good. Eggs cooked perfect and potatoes perfectly seasoned. The salmon Benedict was excellent. It didn’t leave you feeling weighed down at the end. It was light, fresh, and very flavorful."
"Very good, staff was very helpful and nice. Food was great as well, not bad for what the price is! I like that they leave the drink bottle at the table so you can refill as needed (really comes in handy when you drink a lot of water). Our waitress was very nice, the guy checking us in was great. We went to the wrong location on accident and he was able to help us get a table at this location. The guy who took us to our table complimented one of our shirts. Great atmosphere, highly recommend"
