"Our first experience at Verbena was amazing! We didn’t have reservations (our fault) so we sat at the bar, which was a great experience. The bartender made outstanding cocktails and handled our needs mixed with the bar needs like a pro. The food was amazing. Between us- we shared the bang bang shrimp, oysters, the pork, miso salmon and 2 salads. It was all fabulous with great flavor and perfect temperature. I have to eat a GF diet, which brings different levels of complications to ordering at restaurants, but our bartender really knew how the ins and outs of the menu and didn’t make me feel like a pain while ordering! Tons of options for food. The menu and cocktails are on the pricier side, but absolutely worth every bit money spent. Value 100%. The atmosphere was moody and dim with beautiful decor. We will absolutely be back!"

"We were visiting our daughter in KC and she highly recommended Verbena. We had a party of 7. Six ordered smash burgers and loved them! I ordered the ahi tuna salad and it was amazing! Lovely presentation of beautifully fresh salad ingredients, perfectly cooked tuna, and the sauce . . . the sauce/dressing was delicious!!! Service was also great! Parking was a bit of a challenge yet it was Jan 12 and inordinately frigid! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!!!"

"What a gem! Are here a few times during my stay. Highlights were def the burger (served during lunch and HH only). For dinner really enjoyed the bang bang shrimp, beef tartare, wedge salad, carrots and hummus and pork shank. Everything was so good and the cocktails were top notch too! Will be back. The wait staff was very friendly."
