"I am writing this on 8/18/23. I purchased 2 expensive dressers on 7/22/23. There were a ton of pieces missing as one of the employees had opened the box before we bought it, we were told “you can get 40% of your money or we can take screws from a different dresser and you will have to take the risk of the screws not fitting. You can go to ace and buy the right screws.” So why is it up to me to spend money on a dresser AND screws that should’ve come with the dresser in the first place?? We tried getting them to put the money back on my card but 1/5 of the purchase was used via gift card and the employee threw the gift card away so now I can’t get the money back on my card? They said they can’t give me cash either because it will look like cash is missing from the register. So now I am out a few hundred dollars and a dresser. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I will never buy or even step foot in another big lots ever again."

"Nice people. Some really good deals. Some things aren't such a good deal, have to be careful. Go for the big stuff on 20% off days, they usually have one every other month or so on Sunday. You will get a notice in email if you are a member."
