"This was our first time eating here. Food was good. You have options on seasoning to suit all pallets. Service was excellent! Lily did a wonderful job of recommending food and waiting on us. Try the rum butter. It is the bomb!"

"I want to preface this with I am NOT a picky eater and rarely have many bad things to say. Maybe we went on a bad night. The pickle chips and margarita were the best part. I got the Zydecos Pasta which wasn't awful, the shrimp didn't have much flavor nor was there much of it, the vegetables in the pasta weren't seasoned and seemed to be just steamed veggies. The sauce in the pasta was good in taste but super thin. Lime Margarita was delicious. The real bad part was the Jambalaya, which we thought would be a speciality and perfected since it's basic Cajun food. It tasted like burnt tomato paste. The waitress was nice but seemingly short staffed or not able to handle the amount of tables while also seating people and bringing out food. She never came back to our table after we got our food and we couldn't get her attention with everything else she had to focus on. My date wouldn't eat his food and neither would I. By the time she came back we asked for the check as we were past the point of asking to try something else or talk to a manager about it. I don't blame the waitress but something was super off because I've heard mostly good things about this place and was super excited to go on a date night here. The inside of the restaurant side also just feels strange. Not very welcoming atmosphere or even comfortable really.. no booths on the restaurant side. For $14-17 for a dinner serving I'd just expect something a bit better? Probably should of tried it first for lunch portions but overall not a great experience."
