"I took my van here because all the other shops being backed up, didn't want to wait to have the work done. I should've waited. When David finally called me to say it was ready, just had to take it on the test drive. It didn't even make it a block due to David forgetting to put a bearing in. After another week he called and said it was ready. I drove it less than a mile before it started shifting so hard I thought it would break my neck. Even though I was charged the maximum, a "complete rebuild", David chose not to replace the pressure switch which now had to be replaced. As I mentioned, I'd already paid for this part in the "complete rebuild" but was charged another $200 and had to wait another week. The third time I had to bring it back was due to a fluid leak. David neglected to close the diagnostic ports and it was leaking from them. The fourth time I had to bring it back was around a month later. It was slipping so bad it wouldn't pull itself and had no reverse. David let it sit 4 days before he drove it back and forth in the parking spot it sat in and declared it fixed. This happened periodically for 6 months, every 4 to 6 weeks. I was treated like a idiot, like I was imagining it or the van needed a tune up. I use the van to make my living, I couldn't continue having it not being able to be used. After being blown off and ignored I bought a remanufactured transmission and had it installed, another $2300 plus the $2700 I paid David. Haven't had any trouble with the remanufactured transmission, have put over 3000 miles on it.i sent David a certified letter explaining that I was making a claim on the warranty and the costs. Haven't heard a word from him. I can see why he only gives a year warranty. With as much trouble I've had he should offer a warranty that expires when you drive it off his property."
"Can't give this place a high enough rating. They have rebuilt 2 transmissions for me and both have work flawlessly. One was on my Ford truck about 15 years ago. I still have it and still drive it. The other was recently on my wife's Honda Accord. Bravo!!!!!!!!"
"I was recommended to Transmission Exchange by another transmission repair shop that didn’t work on Honda’s anymore. They repaired my Honda for at least 200 dollars less than I would have paid through the Honda dealer. Everything works great and I think the prices were fair. Will use them again if ever needed."
"After calling around to multiple places about rebuilding my transmission in my classic car that has matching numbers I finally found these guys. They understood why I wanted to rebuild and not replace and did an excellent job. They actually told me they could rebuild my transmission when other places said they might be able to. Needless to say we will be taking our other vehicles to them in the future if we ever need to."
