"I absolutely love this place. I drive from Lawrence to get their yeast raised donuts on the weekends. I have a severe dairy allergy, so places like Mud Pie make me feel safe no matter what I pick. They have a good selection of savory and sweet options."
"I was so exited to try this place, we drove from lees summit to have breakfast. The sweets are ok but the worst part was the coffee, we just left an we had to chuck it in the bin, the coffee was burnt, watery and not tasty at all. Such a shame. Probably won’t come back."
"I miss the 39th Street location, but the suburban location on 95th is a reasonable successor. It's comfy, the service is still great and the coffee and tea selections are still wonderful. I'm particularly impressed by Mud Pie's attention to vegan and other special dietary needs (without sacrificing taste). I like to grab a table in back and spend some time reading, writing, drinking tea and enjoying some peace for a little while. This is the perfect spot for it."
