"Made an emergency appointment for tooth pain with a broken tooth that needed to be extracted. The dentist said she wasn’t going to do it the day of as she had two other people and it was getting close to the end of the day, which was fine. She sent in an antibiotic and told me to get on the schedule asap. As I was making the appointment with the office manager, she noticed there was a cancellation and went to ask the dentist if I she would be able to get it done because of that. As the dentist was walking down the hall, I heard her say, “I’m not doing it today!!” The next available wasn’t till the week after! The office manager was kind enough to call another office for me and get me on their schedule. I won’t be back to the Lees Summit office if I have true dental emergency. They didn’t do anything for it."
"this place is horrible! I scheduled an appointment on Sunday for emergency dental procedure because I had broken tooth, I get there today. They treat me like a brand new patient even though this is a place that made my partials and I’ve been there several times, they still treated me like a new patient. I was sitting in the chair. The dentist finally came in and started talking about the consult. I told her it wasn’t a consult. I had scheduled for emergency dental treatment and she said oh I can’t fix it today. I have you down for a consult. I will never ever go back to this office and I will never recommend Aspen dental for anything. They are absolutely horrible ."
"Dr. Ise D'Angelo is by far the rudest, non-compassionate, horrible customer service skills, none accommodating, & uppity provider that I have EVER interacted with. 1st and foremost I went for a scheduled appointment for a filling that broke off. She did not examine my mouth at all. Her assistant took an x-ray & that's it. I sure hope she does not try to charge for anything else because I will definitely let my insurance company know. The 2nd time she walks into the room she tells me "There's nothing that I can do for you today, you'll have to reschedule to get your tooth filled I don't have time to do a work in. Plus 1 of my assistants slid off the road. " I get being short staffed, but as a provider, you should always try to accommodate a patient that is currently in your office. Again, I told her I had an appointment that was already scheduled, and I drove on slick snowy & icy roads just for this appointment. I ask her if it is possible for me to wait & she works me in, her response, " You'll have to check with the front desk." Then she goes back & forth with me with a very stank attitude talking about she's trying to be as understanding as she can & she will recommend me flossing many times if foods get stuck because I asked her what I am supposed to do with an open space just on the side of my tooth. She's a new dentist and you can tell. She has the bare minimum people skills and acts as if she doesn't need patients or could care less if she provides the best quality of care. This is the last straw for me. This is my 3rd time visiting Aspen Dental, and each time it's an extremely long wait, then this time, I get this rude and entitled dentist. The assistant and front desk clerk were very nice. Other than that, my experience here is beyond unacceptable. I'll take my insurance & request elsewhere. As long as she's practicing there, I would say schedule at your own risk with her!!!!"
"I have a terrible fear of Dentists. Because of that it's tough to get me in the door, let alone in the chair. I will have to say, everybody I spoke with or interacted with at the Lee's Summit office show compassion and understanding of my phobia. Felt real good about my visit after I left and even scheduled my next appointment. Though I am a long way from getting over my phobia, Aspen Dental does a great job with those of us that suffer this way. Hats off to the team at Lee's Summit."
"If I could give zero stars I would. This place has terrible customer service. Easy to tell when people simply don't care like they should. They never know what's going on have to remind them and stay on top of everything. Most of the time have to wait more than 15 minutes over appointment time to even be seen. Long story short - motto clear aligners process was an absolute mess not worth it even for discounted price. When I went in for a simple cleaning had a dental assistant try to clean my metal tooth implant area with metal saw instead of plastic for sensitive areas. Luckily I said something or would have continued. Took some time to heal from that. I still have jaw tension and teeth sensitivity even more than before despite utilizing the prescription Colgate sensitive toothpaste. BEWARE this place does not care about patients at all. I tried to call and resolve issues after healing and was told I was being dismissed as patient then hung up on by office manager Tiffany. Mr. Formanek says one thing and does another. I showed up only to find out he completely disregarded my appointment probably for his tee time because it's more important to him. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Simple as that! *They provided me with incorrect final retainer trays. Then, they never informed me there was a final set "re-ordered" for me to pick up. Turns out it was the only final set of retainer trays. If I wouldn't have called and asked they never would have reached out and I would have thought the last set of trays was the "final" more durable trays. After getting home from pickup, I noticed a strange substance on them. Take a look at the photos. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY EVIL. INTEGRITY FIRST AND FOREMOST! I HAVE NEVER FELT MORE BAFFLED AND DISREPECTED AS TO WHAT I DID TO DESERVE ANY OF THIS TREATMENT. WILL BE FILING REPORT WITH BBB! KARMA"
