"Horrible experience with the staff. I took both kids yesterday and was informed they gave our appointments away saying they could not confirm their Monday appointments on Thursday, which was a lie. I pulled up my call log for Thursday and I did confirm at 9:30 am for Monday. My children were disappointed and missed school for this appointment. They did not apologize. They just kept saying they called 3 times which was a lie. I checked my call log and 1 call was made to me and I answered for 8 seconds which was me confirming! My kids have only been seen by the dentist there since they were very young. We travel from Independence MO to that KS location but no more because I will not be called a liar (especially with proof). I will be calling better business bureau and possibly the ADA. I never acknowledged anything saying if I did not confirm that appointments would be canceled."

"Before braces they said I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed.. all 4 of them..okay had them removed, then they said i needed 4 teeth removed due to overcrowding.. okay .. had them removed..had brace for 2 years, got my retainers , wore them day & night for 3 months like i was told. Whenever i would take my retainers off.. in 10 seconds I had a big gap forming in between my top two front teeth.. okay.. so then i kept wearing my retainers only at night now & sometimes in the morning. The gap never left, months went by so I made an appointment.. went to the appointment, doctor said "This never happens are you sure you're wearing your retainer." i said yes, they tightened my retainer, sent me home. Gap kept forming every single time i would take them off.. i wore them again day & night. I checked back in a month.. same thing, they tightened it & sent me home. The gap is still there, my top front teeth are flared out. Just admit you guys messed me up. I never in my entire life have had gaps ANYWHERE & now i do ???? AND ALL YOU CAN DO IS TIGHTEN THE STUPID RETAINER ????!? Do something."

"Why each time I try to call it says “ sorry we’re closed today.” Ugh, I am trying to communicate with them but it’s hard if they keep on doing this. Friday and Mondays are closed for them or ?"

"We think Dr Taylor is excellent! But the one star is for the staff/ office management. Today, we experienced an issue with scheduling for the THIRD time. Last time, they called us a couple of hours in advance to tell us they can only see one of our two kids who were both scheduled because they intended to close earlier. This time, our appointment was for 4:20pm and the day before, they called us to confirm an appointment for 4:00pm without explaining any change in schedule. It’s easy to misunderstand 4pm vs 4:20 esp when they’re so haste on the phone. And also, 4:20 has been scheduled SIX MONTHS ago only for them to change it a day before. So we arrive at 4:20pm with two kids and them telling us they could only see one of them. It’s difficult scheduling children for doctor appointments because there is school and also parents work. The staff is hostile regarding feedback and unsympathetic towards parents’ situation and adjusts schedules according to what’s convenient to them."
