"The lady that waited on me was pretty nice. I believe her name was Betty!! My only complaint was is she could have maybe came and checked on me while I was eating but that was okay I still enjoyed it everybody was pretty nice there! I must say the atmosphere was really nice!. In her defense she was the only waitress."

"We took a motorcycle ride today and we always like to find the ma and pop places! THIS ONE by far is one of the best we have been to!! From the tenderloin to the fish bites to the chef salad to the jalapeño cheese balls to the cheese burger to the coconut shrimp to the SERVICE...FIVE STARS and more if we could!! We will be back!!!"

"Was looking to grab some food en route MCI and didn’t want to eat at a chain. I was skeptical because it’s “local” but conveniently right off the highway. I was pleasantly surprised. When I pulled up, it was packed. And it was all locals. I was the only out-of-towner. Betty takes the orders and serves the food. Either her kids or local kids take drink orders and bus the tables. It’s so mom-and-pop that they hand write the menus. This place is so charming. Food was also good."

"I would have given it a 5 if it was just a little tidyer on the inside, and the hash browns hadn't been a little overcooked. The cinnamon buns and the biscuits and gravy were phenomenal and highly recommend getting them. The ultimate omelet and hashbrowns were good but could have been a little less done. The service was amazing, they were on top of everything from the moment we walked in."
