"Small town dining in the big city. Trouble is, it's not the best of small town. We went on a Saturday late morning. Nothing to indicate whether we had to wait to be seated or we seat ourselves. After being ignored by several employees we decided to seat ourselves. then we had to wait for someone to bring us menus. After several servers looked our way and went a different way, we finally got menus and water. I felt like they pulled the prep cook out because nobody else wanted to help us. It took a while but we finally got the biscuits and gravy we ordered. Tasted like canned or frozen biscuits and gravy mix. Not the worst I've ever had but nothing I couldn't have done at home. The price wasn't too bad but overall I felt it could have been better after all the rave reviews."

"This is our favorite brunch spot, we try to go every week. The breakfast is SO good (especially the chicken fried chicken breakfast). Every that works there is so friendly & nice too. If you like family friendly service, old school vibes, & great food - you'll LOVE this place!"

"The food was good. I got a pork tenderloin sandwich and it was huge. Ordered breakfast it was pretty good. 2023 update. So my husband got the steak and eggs. His steak was under cooked and his eggs were over cooked. The waitress we had wasn't very pleasant. I felt like she slammed our food. This isn't a really big location so I felt like we could have better service."

"The red apple diner offers a no frills family friendly atmosphere. Easy to find with plenty of free parking. Breakfast is served all day . Good comfort food at a reasonable price is nice but the friendly service makes it a great choice for a quick meal. Our waitress, Kim, was very helpful without hovering very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Kim for making my first visit a pleasant one! Next time I'm visiting friends north of the river I'll be sure to stop in and try something off the lunch menu."

"Service was great. This is a true Mom and Pop local diner. Breakfast was amazing of course. 3 egg Meat lovers omelette for me. And it was delicious...plus a wonderful pancake. Then Mom had the Ham and Eggs Breakfast. It was great...gonna have to come back to try the fried chicken!"
