"2 separate diesel pump islands! Good mini convenience/truck stop! No seating from what I saw. I will be back!"
"If good service, competence, a clean store, bathrooms with toilet paper, or hot ready to eat food are things you look for in a gas station.... Go elsewhere. Seriously. There were 9 people in line to check out and one cashier while the manager puttered around slowly with the safe to avoid having to do anything at the other register. Bathroom stalls out of toilet paper. No hot/ready food because apparently that's only during select hours of weekdays. The only good thing about the place is that diesel is cheaper than elsewhere."
"This was the second or third time we came to fuel as their prices are far better than the big 4 ! However, drivers this place has only 4 pumps ( all DEF) and it is a tight turn in and out. No parking to speak of except three pull throughs on the other side of store. One pump was down. You MUST go inside as they are not set up to let you pump from the isle. Here's the issue, the line is always very long. The bathroom ( womens) has no toilet paper, but I opened a box stacked in the hallway and gave the ladies inside the restroom some. The trashcan was overflowed. Husband said the men's was clean though. The entire store had the feeling of short staffing. These employees need help! Didn't see a lot of food available, but didn't look close. Overall, it's worth going to for the fuel but remember NO pull ups so you must hurry in the store as the guy behind you will be almost in the road."
"This was the worst Caseys I have ever been to. Completely understaffed. I asked for ketchup and was told she didn't have time to restock it, so I put my hamburger back. I understand her frustration."
"So I am a Casey’s aficionado and generally love them all. It is rare I ever have a bad experience. However. This might be one of those rare ones that I find to be worse than a Phillips 66. It was super cluttered and disorganized. It was understaffed. The bathrooms were a veritable house of horrors, and were actually too small. I think it would be a better Casey’s if Mound City wasn’t on the interstate and wasn’t getting as much traffic. But because it is the only Casey’s on this stretch of highway before Iowa, tons of people stop because the prices are cheaper in MO. The problem is, this Casey’s can’t handle this many people. The one saving grace, and the reason it gets three stars and not two, is that this Casey’s had a FREE AIR PUMP that actually worked. IKR!? Too good to be true. But it is true here in Mound City so definitely check it out."
