"My Grandmother had surgery in this hospital on 2/5/2024. She was admitted to room 4109. She was discharged on 2/7. My grandmother had two days worth of procedures for her kidneys. Doctors were not even meeting with them to detail what was going to happen until asked. My aunt and my mother were not informed my grandmother was out of surgery and in a room until they wanted her belongings moved out of the holding area of outpatient surgery. Once in the room, you noticed that the room needed a better cleaning especially in the bathroom. There was not any soap, no wash clothes, and no towels. At first, there was not any paper towels to dry hands. The doctor never came by to let the family know if the 1st procedure went as planned or anything. There were no phone calls during the surgery letting any one know how she was doing. We find out afterwards that her oxygen dropped during surgery. Every time we asked a nurse a question any question, we were told I do not know or ask the doctor. You cannot ask a doctor that does not come around. It is like they knew nothing about any thing. Every nurse we had to deal with had an attitude. One was even caught rolling her eyes and shaking her head after my mother asked for some towels and wash cloths. Which were never brought to the room. My grandmother was there 3 days and never received a washcloth or a bath towel. Luckily, she packed her own wash cloth. Two days of procedures and the same handling of both procedures. On day 2 ,she was put in a room for four hours alone waiting for surgery. No nurses checked on her for four hours. My family thought she was in surgery the entire time she was gone. It was the phone call after 4 hours stating they were beginning surgery that let them know she had just spent 4 hours back in a room waiting. My grandmother has bad kidneys, she needed help going to the bathroom and could not hold it. She ended up peeing in the floor, The nurse brought wet towels from another room and cleaned up my grandmother's room. This hospital is terrible. I would not recommend it. We should have learned our lesson 6 years ago when they nearly let me lay in a bed bleeding to death for hours. I ended up in ICU. Luckily, administration stepped in and tried to right the wrongs at the time. I ended up being treated 10x better for 11 days after, but apparently the hospital has just continued down hill from there. I wouldn't even rate the experience a 1 star but I had to give a rating to leave a review."
"I came into the ER on a Sunday morning bent over in pain and I was throwing up nonstop since Thursday. I was seen by a physician assistant named Reed Knight. After I told him that I have been on Mounjaro he rolled his eyes at me. I was given one IV bag and I had a CT and an ultrasound and they found that I had sludge in my gallbladder and that’s why I was in so much pain. He sent me back out to the main waiting room to sit and wait on my results. I was in the waiting room bent over in pain the whole time. He then later called me back in a room and told me I needed to call a surgeon to get my gall bladder removed and he gave me a prescription for some Zofran. He never gave me anything for pain. I went home that night and I threw up stomach bile 9 times in one night. I was sicker than I had ever been in my life and in so much pain. My grandmother rushed me back to the emergency room and I l was extremely dehydrated, my potassium was low and my sugar was low. All on top of terrible my gall bladder pain. The doctor I saw this time immediately had me moved up to ICU and had me put on fluids immediately. Reed Knight had to be the worst excuse for a physicians assistant I have ever seen. He is negligent and not only that he is rude and a flat out idiot. I’m lucky that I got a different doctor the second time around because if not I would probably be dead."
"I went in to the emergency room for my four month old daughter to be seen about a head injury. They made us wait for about two hours and when we decided to go to a hospital that would actually look at my daughters injury, they told us to sign an AMA because we were “refusing treatment”. They didn’t even have us on the list to be seen yet. (Also keep in mind they had people coming in who were seen immediately with no wait) I DO NOT recommend this hospital."
"I had surgery on 12/12/23. My RN Kathy on the 2nd floor gave me outstanding care. She knew what I needed before I even asked for it. She explained the post surgery instructions in detail. She was very caring and I felt very well taken care of. So much appreciation for Kathy - she was just wonderful"
"I went in to the ER for a burn on my hand late last night. The lobby was fuller than normal, but they took my pain and severity of symptoms seriously and got me back to a room as quickly as possible. My nurses, Bri and Neel were incredibly friendly and kind and very caring to my burns. Dr. Sawyer came in swiftly and assessed the severity and treated the situation to the extent of his knowledge. He explained everything to me and consulted with the burn unit in Memphis. He numbed my finger so that he could safely remove my engagement ring before the swelling increased and it would have to be cut off. The entire experience was swift and as comfortable as possible considering the circumstances. By the end, my boyfriend and I were laughing with the nurses and I was sent home with care instructions and a referral to the burn unit if needed. Thank y’all so much!!"
