"Wash Land has so much potential to be a really nice laundry, but it misses the mark. On the plus side, it's in a good location, it's spacious, the washers that I used (normal loads) all worked well, and it has seating with tables. The change machine worked fine for me, and I put $30.00 through it. The ladies' room was much cleaner than I expected. On the minus side, at least two dryers were not working, there was trash, dryer sheets, discarded clothing, fast food wrappers and such all over the floor. The two laundry carts need to be replaced, the loose wires in the basket part catch onto clothing worn and laundry in the basket, I got a couple small tears in shirts I was washing, and it caught my pants I was wearing and ripped a small hole in them. Luckily, no holes in me. The rubber on the wheels had split long ago. The windows in the building were really dirty. I never complain without offering a solution. It's pretty obvious that this laundry would really benefit from an attendant, and a few vending machines. If I owned it, and didn't want to pay an employee, I would offer to let someone run a drop-off laundry service out of the building in return for keeping it clean, and provide them a key to the janitor closet. That way, all I would have to do is come in and empty the money out of the machines, arrange or do needed maintenance on them, and make sure the change machines were full at the beginning of the day and in good working order, and fill the soap vending machine. It would become the asset to the community that a good laundromat should be."
"It's a shame because the machines are nice and in good working order. Inside and out, the place is filthy. Folding tables to dirty to use to file my laundry."
"Had to use the coin operated laundry because my washing machine went out. The machines worked great. Potholes in the parking lot should be repaired. One shouldn't have to risk damaging a tire when patroning a business"
"So from the guy doing laundry I talked to this is the only laundry place in town. And it gets/stays quite crowded. There are plenty of machines. Though a majority were on the smaller side. They had two rows of larger front load washing machines. Three or four of the medium sides ones were out of order. (I was told they had been for a while) Two of them were huge. I used the biggest front load washing machine. It was $5.75 at the time of this review. I fit enough clothes for 3 or 4 loads in it. The instructions were easy to follow and they were done in half an hour. More than enough driers in the place. They recommended using 4 quarters to dry. Gives you 28 minutes. Plenty of time to dry your clothes. (I put mine on high heat). Quite a few wheeled baskets and places to fold. There were vending machines and the change machines were fast and in good working order. I just wish the place was a bit cleaner. The floor was littered with huge gobs of lint and drier sheets. I'm sure it happens from time to time but I went right at opening. I dropped a few things on the floor out of the drier and considered washing them again because of the state of the floor. But all in all a good (and only) place to go wash and or dry clothes. Edit: I've been here twice since my last post. More and more machines are noted to be out of order. So out of about 8 industrial front load machines only one is actually working. The top load washers handle a lot less for the money. So it tells me the owners don't care enough to fix them. As its literally been a month since the first out of order sign was posted and since it's the only place in town to wash they don't see fixing them as a priority as there is no competition. Also - it continues to be a mess in here. I occasionally see customers trying to clean but that's about it. There is never staff on site. So if a machine eats your money good luck getting it back. This morning a man with a cart full of stuff came in here and has been going through trash and yelling obsinities. It's on the main stretch but doesn't feel quite safe anymore."
