Women Minority Business Development Center

The Women Minority Business Development Center (WMBDC) located at 1417 College Street in Cleveland, Mississippi, is dedicated to assisting female minority entrepreneurs in realizing their hopes and dreams. Our mission is to enhance the wealth and wellbeing of minority women entrepreneurs by providing a holistic business and financial solution platform.

At the WMBDC, we offer professional business support assistance, financial counseling, mentorship, and technical assistance services to minority women of color. Our focus is on addressing systematic barriers such as access to capital, networks, and value chains that hinder the success of minority business enterprises.

Serving counties including Bolivar, Coahoma, Humphreys, Issaquena, Leflore, Sharkey, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tunica, and Washington, our team is committed to providing data-driven business decisions, financial resources, and mentorship to help minority women of color succeed in business.

With no other WMBDC in the area, Delta State University's College of Business & Aviation is dedicated to breaking down barriers for minority women entrepreneurs in the Mississippi Delta.
