"I was referred to Dr. Loria by Community Care (VA-Memphis). The nurse (short spiked hair) used profanity because she made an error while charting. Dr. Loria seemed a bit out of touch with reality, in the fact that not every little African American girl wore "tight pigtails all of their youth years". And also, with it being 2023 and the best technology (lasers) at the tips of our fingers, there is no reason for you as a dermatologist to not have equipment to treat "African-American" skin. Oxford has a very diverse community, and I’d suggest you all get equipment to treat every skin tone and every race. If not, then don’t accept referrals from African-American veterans."
