"Feels like home! A great little pool run as a non-profit organization. It requires membership to swim, but it's a great price to have a place to foster swimming skills and enjoy a summer! I'm glad the community has been able to come together to save the pool rather than losing yet another important community resource."
"Old school neighborhood pool. Bagel bites for $2, plus other options, though why would you need anything else? BYO everything except glass, too. Diving board and circular slide for kids of any age, even supervised toddlers. Playground and picnic tables out back. Clean but basic locker rooms. Fun times!"
"I didn’t know this pool location existed. We visited in attendance of a birthday party. It’s is very clean, safe and affordable. The perfect getaway for a Saturday morning in this Mississippi heat. They have lifeguards on staff and the bathrooms were surprisingly clean. A must visit in Jackson MS if you live near North Jackson and have children. They offer swimming lessons again."
"We went in expecting to have a good, family, time. We left dejected and initially feeling discriminated against. We were told that a membership requirement was needed to gain entry. Immediately, I felt like we were in another era, pre-civil rights. We did, however, notice one other family of color and felt slightly more at ease. Perhaps, it was, as they said, simply a matter of have and have not. (Membership that is.)"
