"Food is great. Service is good but servers are running around all over. Maybe they don't have own sections? I have witnessed the owner more than once while seated at bar counter talk absolutely crazy to staff. I asked for a manager after he left and was told there really isn't one. Just seems like there is a lot on staff with little support. I witnessed two servers hand washing dishes because they were out of clean ones. So again food is great just be patient with staff if you visit."

"Seated when we got there - had to get our own menu- staff was great but the service was lousy. They were out of glasses & silverware/ had to give us togo plastic silverware to eat with, two table bussers were present but standing around doing nothing, i could see other table patrons looking for refills & no one refilling drinks ! They need a front of the house manager bad. This place is a cash cow but no one has a clue how to maintain service! Staff was super friendly & apologetic but this is our last time @ this location- pray the other locations have managers & a proper run operation!"

"UPDATE: We now frequent this place from time to time when we want diner type food. The food is pretty good. We've eaten breakfast and lunch. Today I was totally prepared to upgrade to 4 stars and did so. However I see my previous review and coincidentally had similar service issues on this visit as they were short staffed. If there was 3.5 stars, that's what this would be. We will still be back periodically. EARLIER REVIEW -3 stars. Hopefully this is not typical. The lady at the door asked us to sit wherever we want. After we sat down, it took more than 10 minutes for anyone to greet us and ask for drink order. This waitress said it wasn't her table but apparently noticed us not being helped and sincerely apologized- that was good. When I got my coffee, I stired it just to find half of a sugar packet. My wife thought it was mine, but I showed her my complete empty packet on the table. Later on, we weren't checked on for a while and had to wait too long for refills. My BLT was good. My wife's eggs, ham, and grits were fine. Her biscuit was generous size but crispy/dry/overcooked on the side. Not sure if this is typical, but maybe some people like this. Overall, I couldn't give more than 3 stars for this visit."

"The first time I ordered here i noticed how much food you get for such a great price. Since then, i have eaten here 3x/wk. I started off with the basics: bacon, eggs, and a biscuit. The biscuits are particularly fresh. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. I got adventurous and ended up ordering Eggs Sardou (eggs on Artichoke Heart) and was not at all surprised that it came out perfect! The servers here are wonderful. I have worked the service industry for almost 2 decades and you notice things like greeting the regulars by name and a smile. If i could give this place 6 stars i would! Thank you FatSpoon i will be back. :) Update to this review: I have now been coming here for months, ESPECIALLY since they started offering their menu over Door Dash. By now I have ALMOST had every item on this menu, and not once have I been disappointed. The only area that could possibly be improved upon is seating space. 100% of the times I have eaten here the place is at capacity. This isn't even a negative, but a testament as to just how great the Fat Spoon really is. And I'm not the only one who knows it. :)"

"So, why did I give it a 3? We walked into the restaurant and was not greeted. The girl behind the counter never acknowledged us. We took a seat because you can pick your own seat and it. But none of the staff greeted... It took a minute before the young lady came, she was nice but I wouldn't say friendly, but cordial. The food was good. I had the avocado toast, which was tasty, but I could have done without the balsamic that was drizzled on it. It was really thick. My husband had the grits, eggs, sausage and a waffle. He liked it, but he said the waffle was a little dry. Oh yeah! They only have whole milk, no other options. It's not a bad spot, I would say try it because you might have a better experience."
