Old Rodney Presbyterian Church

"Very interesting piece of history. What's odd is you drive for 15mins on a dirt road, cross a hill and boom you're on paved road with curbs. But that only lasts about 200yds then back to dirt road. I wish the information plaques were more legible."

"This was an amazing history Lesson. On a long gravel road to the middle off nowhere it seems but once arriving there you see the cannon ball that was shot from The union warship “The Rattler”! The cannon ball is still housed in the bricks of the old church where it landed. Although the church is no longer used a glimpse in the window takes you back in time the old pews still where they were then. A lot of informational signs are. Affixed around the church to get the whole picture. The small town has not many residents but you can still see the remains of old buildings that were stores, post office and banks back in the day. Nice trip if your in the area"
