Biloxi Shores Apartments

"The owners of this property are from New Jersey according to the manager. They are clearly SLUM LANDLORDS. My apartment was full of black mold. Especially in the bathroom and closet areas. Every time it rained water leaked into the closet where the water heater and heating / air conditioning unit is located. From the roof. Inside this closet you can clearly see burnt wood / ash and rotten wood supporting the AC unit. Above the water heater. In January 2024 a unit next to mine caught on FIRE late one night. 4 fire trucks arrived on scene. The apartment was filled with smoke. According to the Biloxi fire department the cause was from faulty heating and air system in the unit. The apartment below mine and next door flooded. Inconveniencing the occupants for at least a week. A disabled veteran’s apartment has flooded three times and is infested with roaches coming from the filthy empty adjacent apartment. My first night there my elderly neighbor died. Found dead in his apartment days later. Several deaths had occurred there in the four months I lived there. The units are old and out dated. Not at all energy efficient. Old windows and doors causing high energy bills. No screen on the windows and glass sliding doors. Rotten wood floor on the porch. Most of the pictures featured on Google and all the pictures featured on the website are false and misleading. Homeless people living in the woods behind the property. Cutting through the parking lots with their many shopping carts, etc. Homeless people sleeping and loitering inside the common areas and hallways of buildings one and four. The landlords are taking advantage of low income families. Charging for roach and mold infested units. As recently as 2022 entire buildings were deemed uninhabitable by the City of Biloxi. This factual information is public record with the City of Biloxi and online. I made a terrible mistake moving there. The unit I was in was making me sick. My options were to for fill the lease at $990.00 per month at 12 months or to buy out the lease with a two month notice and a $1,000.00 buyout. Or break the lease and go to court. I choose the latter. This property really should be condemned and torn down. Go talk to some of the tenants and look around, you’ll see for yourself. DO NOT RECOMMEND BILOXI SHORES APARTMENTS. I have many photos documenting my experience there. Photos and testimonials from current and former tenants tell the truth about this disgusting property."

"This apartment complex is amazing in every aspect. Came to spend the weekend at my girlfriend’s apartment and I was mind blown about how much the place has changed. Not only was the complex nice but the property manager was great and seems like she genuinely cares about the place and it’s not just a job to her. My girlfriend had a leaking faucet but hasn’t had the time to ask about getting it fixed so I went to the manager myself and she had her maintenance guy getting it fixed immediately. Wish I could give it 10 stars"

"Biloxi Shores has been a wonderful place to live. The grounds and facilities are kept clean and nice and, as a single woman, I feel safe living here. I can also walk to the groceries I need and I can even walk to the beach. There is also a lot of close shopping. Britany Lee from the office is AMAZING. She is always available, is so kind, and goes above and beyond. I go in the office for help and she always knows what to do. I go in there just to say hi and she is always a smiling face. I have even gone in crying and needing a friend, and she was there for me. The maintenance staff are also kind and very good at their jobs. And they are always up for a quick hello as well. I am very happy here. :)"

"Absolutely nicest manager I have dealt with. She was very helpful and went over and beyond to make sure i was happy. The inside of the apartments are extremely nice and comfortable. I would recommend anyone looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in Biloxi to go here FIRST!!"
