"UPDATE Pacifica has allowed these buildings to become a danger to lives! They have known for years that the pilings and foundations have rotted to an extremely dangerous condition yet they are still allowing renters into these dangerous apartments. See photos of pilings. They have condemned some units but are still renting others. Now Pacifica has cut gate security ! This is a horrible and dangerous place!! UPDATE: Wish I could give minus stars! Pools finally cleaned up but thats it. Pools still have no safety rails, BBQ pits are full of holes and not usable. Nearly 3 years of mold on the buildings with no attempt to clean them. Some siding is finally being replaced from Zeta! Extensive water damage, mold, rotting plywood and studs and they are just putting up new tyvec and siding and not replacing ALL rotted molded wood under it. They are using rusty nails to make the repairs! Rest assured, your unit has a GREAT chance that there is mold and rotting wood behind the sheetrock, that you get to breath. We are on our 3rd management company in one year. I dont blame them for not wanting to be a part of the company, Pacifica, that runs our HOA and refuses to keep the place up with repairs and maintenance. Deepak and Tracy are only interested in your $$$$, not your safety or your health or your quality of life. Green pools, no safety railing in pools, holes in bbq pits that you can stick you hand thru, mold that has not been cleaned for YEARS, open buildings from hurricane Zeta 2 1/2 years ago. Dont you want to live at this run down property in Slidell? Pacifica has NO LEADERSHIP and no property management. They steal your $$$, make up excuses and laugh as they take your $$$ and hand you the keys to your condo. Welcome to the Anchorage. Sucker!!"
"We really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful views and a really quiet complex. We never had any issues living here. The only two complaints I would have is that they didn't have bigger units for a 3 bedroom and that there were no bedroom lights in any of the bedrooms so you had to get lamps. Other than that, we had a beautiful time here"
"I have referred many friends and family to the Anchorage Apartments and I personally have rented there previoulsy. Miss Sherri the manager is very courteous and professional. The facility is very well kept and has luxury amenities including multiple pools, fitness facility and waterfront living. I highly recommend renting at this property."
"I have been here over a year now and not once has the building been cleaned or power washed for that matter. The siding is falling off of buildings and the sides are green or turning green from mold growing. The buildings are very dirty like they haven’t been cleaned in years. Now they decide to raise the price of a one bedroom to 1225.00 a month. That’s for a one bedroom lol !!!! I was also told by management that they will be raising rent each and every year now. There are much nicer places and cheaper for the money. We were told to always call for repairs or issues so when my big kitchen light went out I called and they wanted me to pay for the bulbs lol. The fitness centers are old and outdated, some equipment doesn’t even work, there is no grounds crew working daily that I have seen. I would like to know what my extra 125.00 a month hike on my rent is being used for? What also really bothers me is it is suppose to be a gated community and the guards that work don’t even get up to bother and check vehicles going in and out so pretty much anyone can drive in and out. What’s the point in having a numbered sticker pass stuck on my window if they aren’t even going to do their job and check who is and isn’t coming and going? Every week is someone new at the gate, apparently no one stays at the job. It’s a descent place but nowhere near 1225.00 a month for a one bedroom apt."
