"I have a custom 1903 Springfield with a McGowen barrel, trued and squared action done in 1983. Over the years I had some corrosion on the crown my groups went from 1/2 inch at 100M, to 2 inches @ 100M . after a good cleaning and inspection I found the muzzle was corroded from being in storage for over 15 years. I took it to Deep South tactical and had them to cut the muzzle down about 3/4 inch to clear any corrosion an re-crown the barrel, and install a new Picatinny rail, with new scope I am now back to back to 1/2 inch at 100M. I now have purchased a new adjustable stock and will have them do a Pillar and Glass bedding on my new stock. Great people, beautiful and Professional work. Deep South Tactical is my go to Gunsmith from now own."
