"I went for almost two years. At points, seeing their resident therapist Alicia once a week. The only people that I’d trust is the Nurse and Bailey the receptionist. Every medical NP and Alicia the therapist is untrustworthy, inconsistent, and just not worth your time or money. I went through a very terrible experience and rather being given compassion and help, I was shunned and told if I didn’t get more extensive treatment and go on a leave of absence from my job and severely deplete my money and livelihood, I would no longer be able to be seen. And since I’m unfortunately a normal human who needs employment and money to survive, this suggestion was not feasible. I did not seek out further treatment that was suggested, and I told them specifically that was not an option for my survival. After all, no job, no money. Can’t leave work for 6 months and drive an hour each day for some therapy when it costs money to live. This was my ultimatum. Obviously I was not able to do this ridiculous ask of me and instead of coming up with other solutions of treatment that would work with me, I was told it was this… or nothing. So it’s been nothing for me. Don’t trust anyone here to help you because when you need it the most, you’ll be tossed aside."

"After being told I'd only owe a $15 Co pay they then charged me $189 and said they didn't take my insurance. The counselor was nice, but the business office needs to get their act together."

"My husband had an initial appointment here. He turned in all of his forms and insurance information but it wasn't processed by the time he left his appointment. He was called prior to his next appointment and told he had a $15 copay for his initial appointment and would have another $15 due at his next appointment. He is insured by Ambetter. Once he arrived at his appointment he was told they do not accept Ambetter and he owes $189 for his last appointment. He also would be unable to attend his current appointment without paying an additional $189. While an office has the right to deny insurance, staff should be trained to recognize what insurance is accepted before a patient is seen. Much less before calling a patient to assure them their payment requirements, or before that patient takes a day off work, and drives 45 minutes to an appointment. Now not only are we out $189, we have to find another provider, do another initial appointment, and hope that they are able to tell us their accepted insurance providers before an appointment."
