"Bottom line: Good treatment by Dr. Cohen and his staff, I highly recommend. Details: In November 2022, a quarter-sized callus on the bottom of my right big toe joint started causing considerable pain as I walked. This callus had formed as a result of an injury to a tendon in my ankle years ago(I'm 93 now) but I never experienced pain before. As the pain increased in November, I visited Dr. Cohen for help. During my first visit December 2, 2022 his assistant X-rayed my foot/ankle from several angles and then he explained several options for treatment at my age. The recommended option was for a shot in the callus every 2 weeks(the 1st one that day). I received additional shots on 2 week intervals--the last one on January 27, 2023--the callus had progressively gotten smaller and less painful and by February 10, 2023 had completely disappeared. The location where the callus had been for many years was(is) now normal with smooth skin and no pain at all. I have not received any shots since January 27th and the callus has not come back at all. As part of the treatment, Dr. Cohen had me use shoe inserts and a 3"x 3" soft pad placed on the right shoe insert after cutting a small square out of it below where the callus had formed(this was to keep pressure off the joint bone). All in all--a very successful treatment!"

"I had my first appointment with Dr. Cohen last week. As a type 1 diabetic I’m cautious with whom I choose to work with on my feet, due to the amount issues I have. Everyone was exceptional in keeping me at ease during my visit. John explained everything he was doing, from trimming my nails to the X-rays. Dr Cohen came in and very efficiently went over my plan options for care. The office was busy that day but the staff handled things very effectively! Everyone was laid back yet professional and made it a very comfortable visit!"
