"I went in to get tested because I started having Covid and Flu like symptoms. I have managed for almost 4 years to dodge this horrible infection. I tested positive. The Nurse Practitioner that worked 2/15/24 was unprofessional and based treatment on her own personal opinion rather than professional opinion. I have medical conditions that warrants the use of Paxlovid because I am high risk for hospitalization or death. I am well informed about the drug and opted to get a rx. This Nurse Practioner gave me all kinds of excuses. It ranged from I only prescribe it to my elderly patients, to me being a bariatric patient and uncertain of the effects, to I don't have any recent labs in their system. Basically she sent in a Rx for allergy meds to my pharmacy and sent me home to die. My BP spiked within hours of leaving that place and my fever skyrocketed. I had to schedule an appointment with my PCP to save my life. When I say my PCP and his staff was considerate and listened to me, I owe them alot. So far as that Nurse Practitioner at Memorial Courthouse that told me she hadn't looked at my chart or medication list in their system, she needs to go back and reasses self because she was very unprofessional and rude. Then upon leaving the Memorial Nurse that took my vitals said I hope you feel better upon me leaving; I responded by saying I hope I don't die. I will be filing a complaint with the State against this Nurse Practitioner because I am sure that I am not the only one who was treated like this."
"I was treated with respect and seriously! Everyone was professional and helpful and caring. I would highly recommend this Health Clinic!"
"This is our local walk-in clinic, so I've been thereany times between the whole family. They take good care of you. Nurse Esser has caught things that surprised me, and Nurse Kitrell also was able to identify what was wrong and be reassuring. They teach students frequently, so you may get a young just learning doctor for the initial exam, but the team is thoroughly going over the assessment which allows the student to learn and tends to the patient with the ailment."
"The person at the front desk was extremely rude. I told her my grand daughter had an ear infection, she just stared at me. I asked her if I needed to sign in and she said she is very busy. There was only one person in the lobby and the parking lot was empty! It took the NP over an hour to call in the prescription for my grand daughter’s ear infection. Excuse I got? We are extremely busy. Ummm, the Parking lot was empty. Won’t go there again."
"I was very pleased. The initial wait was lengthy but they were very busy, so considering the number of patients, I thought it to be reasonable. After getting called, I waited for the nurse practitioner for about another 15 to 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and worked in a timely manner. I will use them again."
