"The only person who was professional was the eye doctor. I came in for an eyeglass and contact exam, was told that they would charge additional for both, ok. I chose to get eyeglasses which my insurance covers one pair per year and was told that transitions were an additional charge. Checked my benefits, this was incorrect. I had asked for a hard copy of my prescription, this was never provided to me so I took pictures of my exam results. I had asked about contact samples, and was told that they didn’t have any in stock but that to get a pair for one day would be $15. I chose not to pay that much when contacts should usually cost $1/day. I overheard the older woman who had been helping me say to another customer “I hate people like that”. Sorry for understanding my benefits and not wanting to be overcharged I guess. Incredibly unprofessional and unwilling to give proper customer service in addition to a reading comprehension issue by multiple staff members. I’ll go to vision works by Fremaux next time."
