"I’ve regularly seen exceptional outcomes with patients discharging from Beacham. They offer a service and caring environment that goes above and beyond the standard care. The nurses are very nice and attentive and the physician staff will always do what they believe is right even when it doesn't necessarily agree with what insurance dictates. The facility is very clean, aesthetically pleasing, smells good and the equipment is up to date. I would send my momma there and have sent my momma for care and that says a lot. Negativity always seems to abound locally but this place is a good and needed thing."

"I'm surely concerned how this place is still open. HIPPA violations left and right, I'd be surprised if there isn't multiple lawsuits. Nurses on duty intimidating patients and also the carelessness of the staff. How can you have a high blood pressure patient and not regularly check their pressure? Clearly there isn't enough training because patients hands are swollen because they are NOT TRAINED properly. Another nurse stated she would pour holy water on a patient.. Now I don't believe that was part of the OATH they take to save lives. Please take your family to Jackson."

"I’m so upset w/ Freedom Behavioral. Yes, the nurses where nice & took good care of my Mom. My problem is w/ the diagnosis. Her neurologist of 2 yrs gave her a diagnosis of dementia w/ behavioral disorder which the doctor at Freedom did also. The neurologist also diagnosed her w/ depression, which the doctor at Freedom didn’t do. My whole family knows she has depression, she takes medication for it! The dr at Freedom left her on the depression medication, but didn’t give her a depression diagnosis!?? I had a nursing home picked out for my Mom & they where preparing to take her immediately from her discharge at Freedom. The nursing home is required to do a PASRR evaluation on ALL incoming residents. Since the dr at Freedom didn’t/wouldn’t diagnose her w/ depression, she couldn’t have the PASSR because Freedom kept saying it wasn’t needed. I made 22 phone calls in 1 day trying to get one or the other to to work w/ each other which didn’t happen. My mother missed a chance to go into the nursing home. I called around & couldn’t find another place for her at this time. I have taken care of her for the past 2 yrs & desperately need to go back to work. So yes, I’m very upset w/ them. I gave them 2 stars for the nice, sweet nurses."
