Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jackson Downtown - Coliseum, an IHG Hotel

"Indoor pool is freezing. It would be warmer if it was outside. Filled with cold water. No hot tub. Front desk was talking on her aipods the whole time she was checking me in. Loud all night."

"Staff was nice and that is the only good thing about this hotel. No hot water unless staff resets a pump then you wait 20 minutes for hot water. Rooms were not clean at all. White powder was everywhere behind the night stand (see pic). We paid for three people in the room but they can only leave enough towels and rags for two people so each day we have to ask for another set for the third person that is paying to stay here. This hotel is one of the worst I have stayed at. We almost decided to drive back and forth from Laurel to Jackson everyday just so we won’t have to sleep in those rooms. Last time to stay here ever."

"The location is very convenient to the interstate and to restaurants. The room was fine except it was dated and the walls were thin. We heard everyone who walked down the hall or when a door closed it woke us up. Additionally, neither of our keys worked. The free hot breakfast was cold and tasteless."

"The staff was nice when we checked in but that is all I can say about this place. There was not any hot water. We notified the desk but said it was too late in the night to fix it…..this was at 7 pm. Our bathroom door didn’t close. And there was stuff all over the bathroom door (peep the pictures attached). We are part of a travel cheer team and We had a couple of other families stay in this hotel as well. They had blood on the bed, hair on the bed, and shrimp tails on the floor. Another teammate had no hot water, tv didn’t work, and the phone didn’t work. Neither of these other families had hot water either. I would never stay again and if it wasn’t for a tired daughter I would have asked for a refund and went somewhere else!!!!!"

"I work at a nearby hospital, and we got froze in. My company provided us with rooms here. This place is clean, comfortable, and roomy. The staff was kind, friendly, and very helpful."
