"Nice updated and clean room, very nice people at check in and really inexpensive!!! I will stay here again!!"
"I stay here quite often and the service is 10/10. They go above and beyond for anyone that stays. The rooms are outdated but being worked on and always very clean. Never have a problem!"
"The people were so sweet and helpful. But gotta say the carpet, commode, general dusting had not been accomplished in weeks. Minor TV issue, it worked, but the remote, Not so much. I know folks work hard to make a living, but it’s really not that hard to run a vacuum and swish a toilet."
"Unbelievable. Driving 5 hours from Lubbock and another 6 hours from Dallas to Lake Providence, I expected better. Unsanitary, unclean, waited in the cold (ringing the doorbell) for lackluster service. We had to argue to get a refund after seeing the poor state of our room (shower head falling off, soiled sheets). It wasn't until we THREATENED to call the health inspector that they scrambled to get out refund processed. Overall experience was terrible and a waste of time at 2 am! Remember we are in a pandemic, health standards should be satisfied at ALL times in ALL rooms."
"Work brings me to Lake Providence at once a month. I always stay at the Economy Inn 20-25 times. I like how easy it is to get in and out of the rooms. You can pull your car right up to your room. So if you forget something in your car, no problem, the car is right outside the door. Outside the room there is an over hang with wooden railing. The railing is at study enough to sit on. The over hang is more like a wrap around porch. The porch is lit at night with soft light. The over hang is really nice, especially when your trying to get into your room when its raining. The beds, room and bathroom are always clean. The rooms have satellite TV, WiFi, a quarter-sized refrigerator, a microwave and cold air. And even wall mounted blow dyer! All the rooms I have stayed in have a nice little table with two chairs to do paperwork. There are outlets all around the room. So you will have no problem finding a place to charge your cell phones or plug your laptop up. As for room space? All the rooms I have stayed in have two beds. There is plenty of space to walk around and not bang into things. Even when you bring your luggage in! 2-4 people can comfortably co-exist in this room for a night or two, easy. You also get a dresser to put your clothes in. The staff is really nice. Sometimes they have free coffee in the lobby. These rooms are really a bargain! There is a 24 hour Outpost Travel Center right next store. (3 minute walk) You can get a good meal there, fill up your car or pick up those last minute items you may have left at home."
