Shack Up Inn

"Absolutely loved our stay at Shack up. Great idea for lodging, built on v historic grounds. We stayed in Gunny shack and it was a great space for two. We had a piano too!! Bill was a great host and we enjoyed a couple drinks at the bar before heading to ground zero."

"Just another great unique place to stay. We had a party of 6 and stayed in the Rich House (shacks and bins were sold out). The bar was supposed to close early and there were only a handful of us there, but the staff and bar tenders kept it open for our enjoyment. This allowed the music to continue on as well. Fantastic local musician. We take a one or two family trips per year (all adult couples from 3 generations), and all of us look forward to a day we can return. We want to try to stay in the the gin bins or one of the shacks. So much fun!"

"If you're looking for amenities, go somewhere else. This place is about the experience, and there's nothing that can beat it. I don't ever want to stay anywhere else when I go to Clarksdale!!!!!"

"If you are looking for a unique, tranquil, experience… this is the coolest place to stay in Clarksdale! It’s chic-vintage with one of the coolest collections of original antiques incorporated througout the entire property. Awesome art and prints for sale in the lobby/gift shop. And one the coolest bars and atmospheres from floor to ceiling! There’s plenty to do and see in Clarksdale, MS, but this place has it all in one location!"

"What a fun find..we were not enjoying the Mississippi Delta till we found the shack up inn! We were lucky enough to be there on the last night of a guitar camp, which meant we got to listen to a 2 hour jam session and walk back to our shack!! Don’t let the outside fool you! Inside our shack was very well done. Everything thing we needed ( except a tv)"
