"I stayed here during the pandemic, 2020 the owner his wife and his son were absolutely awesome. He was so welcoming and fair to everyone that came to stay regardless of their background, ethnicity, or race, or even political view; which was big during that time. I learned so much just being in that space. More than you would expect from a simple, yet beautiful hostel. His wife is strong, cultured, and so kind and a staunch humanitarian. She’s so supportive of the space and to the people that come to stay. I wish them the absolute best, and the most success. And I hope after these few years, it’s been amazing for them. "This was a nice clean and comfortable place to stay. My husband and I almost had the place to ourselves. I was a little sceptical at first but once I saw the full setup I was ok with it. I'm looking forward to seeing what is behind another door. We are looking forward to staying again."

"I stayed for a few weeks in the summer (both hostel and private room) and absolutely loved it. Nicest place of the trip. The decor is stunning and really high spec, the common areas are lovely to hang out in, and Rob & Lucy were great company and went above and beyond with advice, lifts etc. The bathrooms though shared are gorgeous. Location is right in town, and near the river, and I had no issues with noise - so I found it super convenient. Would recommend & stay again ."

"This was our first time staying in a hostel. Was a quiet time of year. Host and hostess were great-friendly, congenial & informative. Our room as well as the hallway, bathrooms and downstairs common rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Lots of history to the building. In walking distance of all downtown events. We had a visit from the owners small dog which we enjoyed as we were missing our own pets. We would recommend to anyone who is open to the hostel experience."
