"Such a cool lil spot with amazing food! While visiting family we decided to drop in and check this place out. Man are glad we did. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible! Stop in, you won’t regret it."

"It has potential but missed the mark during our visit. My husband can't have gluten or dairy. Excited to try a place where we can both order off the menu without making a ton of substitutions. He ordered the GF Vegan Pancakes. Taste was good but the "pancakes" he was offered were very sad. Resembled tortillas instead of pancakes. I know GF Vegan Pancakes can be made fluffy because we make them at home. Served with a side of fruit, probably Cisco fruit. Out of season blueberries, strawberries and grapes. Butter tasted like true balance. Country crock has come out with a more tasty, spreadable vegan butter. I ordered the shrimp and grits. I'll order them on any menu I see. They were SO SALTY. The extra lemon squeezed on top made it worse. The flavor would have been much better if the BBQ shrimp and the grits weren't both salted. The toasted French bread with it was salted too."

"The food is great! There is quite a variety and there are many gluten free and vegan options for people with allergies! The coffee is on point, the atmosphere has a New Orleans breakfast place feel to it, and the owners are always looking to create new food items!"

"Had an amazing breakfast at Turgeau's before the three rivers at festival! My vegetarian mom was in town so we wanted somewhere with plenty of options for her-- we were so impressed! Cant wait to try more of the menu. I highly recommend the hummus, grits and the corn cakes!"

"Definitely one of the best places to eat in Covington, LA. And the owners are absolutely wonderful souls. They can cater to anyone with food allergies or dietary restrictions, which works well for my boyfriend. Both of our meals were delicious. I had the potato and red pepper scramble and it was forest. They have some good hot sauce options that I enjoyed as well, the mango was my favorite. My boyfriend had the chorizo burrito and loved it! I also thought it was cool how Turgeau’s features a bunch of local artists. They seem very connected to their community, I love it."
