"If your looking for a place to get your hair done keep looking!!! DO NOT DO NOT!!! OVER PRICED AND POOR QUALITY!!! I only gave 1 star because she tried to fix my hair twice within 2 weeks of me getting my hair done!!!!! if not for that it would be a zero!! I got the foux locs done on Feb 3rd it is now Feb 20th and I have been back to her twice within that time to get 5 locks fixed that came a loose it's now Feb 20th and have 4 more locs that are coming a loose. Keep in mind I rap my hair every night and in the shower I'm also military so my hair stays stationary most of the time. I did try to call and ask for some of my money back because I paid $300 for a style that I am only going to be able to wear for a month. which should be lasting me atleast 2mts and that's the minimum!!!... I'm really thinking about suing her it's that bad. this is not my first time with this style so I know how it goes and it's not like this!!!"
"Regina does wonderful work and she's quick. My styles last for a long time. I've already gotten my braids done by her twice and love them each time. I also appreciate that she carries the hair in her shop."
"Hello All, I toyed back and forth with writing a review and decided to go ahead and do so. I definitely don't like to bash people or leave bad reviews; however, I use reviews to make my decisions and I know others do too. Pros: My hair was pretty and neat, and my scalp did not ache badly afterwards (I'm not tender-headed though). Here is why she didn't receive a higher rating. She and I had a phone call, I texted her a picture of my hair, then my child and I stopped by her shop so she could actually see my hair length. We decided on Kinky Twists and she told me to CashApp my deposit. I got back to my phone (which I had left in my vehicle) and immediately sent the deposit. I texted her (she had a client and I didn't want to disturb her work-she could answer the text whenever) to make sure she received it. On the day of my appointment, she texted me confirming our day/time again. I arrived as we planned, but she wasn't there. I waited 5 minutes before calling her; she said "I'm on my way Love." 10 minutes later (15 minutes after my appointment was to start), she arrived and was in her cell phone. She greeted me then asked "What are we doing to your hair?" I said "Remember we decided on Kinky Twists?" She said "Oh, no I can't do twists on your hair today!" I asked, "Why? I thought you said my hair was long enough to catch." She said "I really just want to go back home and get in my bed. I can do this style, okay?" She shows me a picture of small cornrows into a bun. Of course, my hair had just been washed and detangled (in preparation for this appointment) plus I didn't have a second option (my family had just moved to the area a couple months before) and I had a work event the next day, so I said fine. She continued to talk on the phone to her friend while braiding my hair. Halfway thru the appointment, she got off the phone w/ her friend and asked me where the closest bookstore was. I told her I wasn't sure but then I remembered the two bookstores I knew of, so I told her. She thanked me and told me she was going straight to the bookstore to buy this new book her friend recommended; she also said she was going to begin reading it as soon as she got home. I couldn't do anything but shake my head and laugh it off. Again, her work was very neat and she seemed to be a pleasant person, but my appointment (and I) was not handled right."
"Regina was recommended by my best friend and cousin and I must say she definitely didn’t disappoint. She’s very professional, fast, talented and has a humble spirit. We will definitely be back and highly recommend her for hair braiding needs!!!"
"Love my hair! They aren't too tight, but not lose either! I can tell these will last me at least 7-8 weeks! I will definitely be returning to Aya for as long as I live nearby, no one else will do! Done with crochet dreads in just 2 hours and for a good price as well!"
