"A place like B.A.M. Deserves an outstanding review. When we bought our 6 acres we knew we needed a zero turn lawnmower. We knew that we didn’t want to spend the majority of our free time mowing the lawn. We first went to Evergreen Tractor and Equipment to look at Kubota. We were met by a sales guy in a suit and tie who promptly told us if we had any questions he’d be in his office and pointed in the direction. My husband immediately began asking a series of questions in regards to what would better suit our needs. It was a dry conversation typical of a salesman. We left there and went over to Sunshine Quality Solutions to look at John Deer. We met a more hospitable salesman who basically told us that they didn’t have anything in stock and didn’t know when they would. We then went to B.A.M. Where my husband initially wanted to turn around in the parking lot and leave and I told him that we should check it out. We walked in and were greeted by two gentlemen behind the counter one of which was entertaining an older local who needed someone to talk to. They told us to head around back to the garage and we could see what they had available, no sales pitch. We went out to the garage and a gentleman crawled out from under a lawnmower and greeted us with a kind smile and a “let me know if you need any help.” My husband engaged him with a series of questions and the gentleman began breaking down what each Gravely was capable of and it was a list compiled with everything you’d need to know about each tractor and it’s capabilities. He even offered us a used Gravely over the newer ones. He was the most king and genuine charector. Turns out he was the owner. It’s a locally owned business that’s been around for years. We decided to buy a Gravely souly on the fact that we were promoting a small business and that the owner was working on his own tractors and seemed to enjoy the heck out of it. We later had an issue with our lawnmower that was a factory flaw which caused us to blow a tie rod and they were able to get us a brand new engine from Gravelys warranty. Which is an obvious solution but I know for a fact that if we’d gone through a corporate business with a typical salesman it would have taken a lot of fighting and time, which was not on our side due to being the highest mowing season. They got it back to us in a weeks time! It’s small businesses like this that deserve to be utilized. This is was America needs. Supporting Mom and Pops and real people with real business ethics. Let’s get back to our roots and dump corporate America behind and bring back what this country was founded on, hard working Americans trying to make a buck and feed their families by the sweat off their backs and a smiles on their faces. They deserve your business and you deserve to be treated like a human."
"BAMS was recommended to me by an acquaintance to repair my 2 year old riding lawnmower. The valves needed adjusting. BAMS picked up the lawnmower. Once returned, I went to start it and the electrical shorted out. BAMS picked up the mower again. Once returned I immediately noticed the shifter was very loose. I told them that it was not like that when it left. The mechanic said he had diagnosed the issue as coming from the transmission, and had to take it apart to fix it. Cost of $600.00. I then had a Mobile mechanic come out from another company. Turns out, BAMS had disconnected a spring that tightens the shifter. It took him 2 seconds to reconnect it, and the shifter was fine. Also, as the new mechanic went over the issues associated with the deck, I realized that the "ID" that we mark all of our tools with, was not there. BAMS had switched our deck with an older, broken one. I assume they did this so I would have them pick it up again and charge me hundreds of dollars to "repair" it. Only to put the original deck back on. BEWARE. These people are VERY DISHONEST."
"dependable service they stand behind their work had an oil change new blades even welded my deck in two different places I dropped my lawn mower off in the morning and pick it up an evening can't ask for better service and besides they are very friendly. I would recommend them to anybody who had lawn mower problems."
"Great family run business. They are very knowledgeable about their products and their competitors. Bought my Gravely HD60 mower there one season ago and love it! Also bought my trimmer and chainsaw there."
