"I purchased a washer from Lowe’s in Covington; unfortunately, it didn’t work properly. I spoke with Wendy, the supervisor for appliances; she was extremely helpful. They are going to pick up the washer and deliver a new one. I am not able to get to Lowe’s, so I asked Wendy to pick out another washer comparable to the one I ordered that is in stock. She took the time to look, and she was kind and patient with me. Lowe’s has excellent customer service. Thank you, Wendy!"
"Spent thousands on a riding lawnmower that had a bad tire that will not stay inflated. A week after purchase, I asked them to make it right and was told that I could bring it back, wait until they sent it off somewhere to be repaired, and come back to pick it up. I do not own a truck or a trailer. I should not be so inconvenienced. Easier to do myself. You are a big corporation. You should be able to make it right."
"I had a great experience at Lowe’s thanks to Matthew! He went above and beyond to help us retrieve our bulky items from the shelf and locate the piping parts we needed for drainage. Not only was he incredibly helpful, but he was also friendly and kind throughout the entire process. I can't thank him enough for his excellent customer service!"
"Using the Lowe’s extended warranty is painful. We purchased an extended warranty on our washer and there was a problem after four years. I called the extended warranty department and was machine routed exhaustively and could not get a live person on the phone. It was as much fun as circuit training. I kept getting asked for a code and since my phone number was not in their system I was SOL. Welcome to AI. I called the Lowe’s in Covington for 2 days and no one answered. I finally went to the store in person and the bright young lady in customer service told me, and I’m not making this up, that Lowe’s wasn’t responsible for extended warranties. Funny didn’t I pay Lowe’s for this extended warranty.i finally talked someone into letting me take a screen shot of the information about my warranty purchase. Although the information was helpful, the store could not print me receipt which contained the code I needed to call customer service back. Anything but that! It took several calls and pleading for a supervisor that I had to screenshot my screenshot to for him to obtain my receipt which did not have the code I needed. I had to screenshot the release to another supervisor who finally entered me into the elusive Lowe’s warranty program and arranged for a service call the next day. However the service provider called me and said they had no appointments for 30 days and was that ok. I replied that it would be fine if they could find someone to wash my clothes. A few calls later a had a service provider two days later. They contacted me and said they didn’t work on anything out of a one year warranty. Why are they being given extended warranty work. I have a third provider scheduled but who knows?"
"Went to get a pair of safety gloves. Asked 2 different associates for assistance. One told me not to trust online inventory that they didn’t carry that product (wow). Another guy told me that if I didn’t see them by the gardening gloves then I’d have to order them. A guy named Mr Doug actually took the time to walk with me and actually find the EXACT gloves I was looking for in the store. Thanks Mr Doug!! I love Lowe’s but service needs to step up. Y’all are losing revenue when associates encourage customers to buy online because they don’t feel like taking the time to look up one item on their mobile handheld device. It’s not like I asked them to grab a catalog and search by hand."
