"I love this place! One of only a handful of old fashioned General Merchandise Stores left in America. Mr. Jewell Donnell can relate stories from times past that remind me of when I was growing up in small town/rural America. He carries things that are very hard to find anymore like cast iron cookware, porcelain pots, meat curing materials, and even locally produced honey, jams, jellies, and locally-made furniture. I also adore his collection of antique butter churns, sausage grinders, and so much more. I pay my Internet bill there and always pick up at least one case of canning jars and then enjoy a Coke in an old fashioned glass bottle while I converse with Mr. Donnell about how his parents and grandparents used to do things in the old days. I recommend that everyone make a stop here for some high quality merchandise or even just to turn the clock back for a brief moment. Kathy Cloud"
