"Good luck getting a refund when you sell your house, I’m nearly 4 months out with multiple emails and phone calls of “the refund was sent” and still no refund. Paid for an entire year of insurance and house sold a week later. DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

"Stay away from Coastal American insurance company. We purchased our house in December since then they have sent us two cancellation letters. One that was backdated and stated that they had cancelled our insurance before it had even started. And one that stated the house was vacant…even though we were living in it. Now they have officially cancelled. They simply just sent us a check. No letter. No phone call. Nothing. Now I am a week from my wife having a baby and having to find new homeowners insurance. These people are a complete scam. Don’t do business with them."

"Have had insurance with them through 2 homes. Just sold and bought another housthe year.e which they refused to insure because the roof was 25 years old. Received a letter staining my insurance was cancelled but as of 9/26/21 have not received a checked. I called Baron Rouge several days ago and they said the check was mailed on the 16th. Well the house was sold on th31st of August and I STILL have not received the check. And NO unless you have someone walking it to Gulfport ,it was not sent out on the 16th.Please send my refund. "We have coastal American insurance and had a estate done by them because our roof is leaking and we need a new roof and soffit. I think it's stupid we pay them for home owners insurance and they deny us a roof well they have lost our business without a doubt the most useless insurance company I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone"

"Do no have them insure you. They are a joke of a insurance company. They gave me $30 to fix my roof which will cost over $5000. I do NOT recommend them whatsoever."
