"Initially chose Magnolia Auto because they had great reviews, and they also gave me an estimate over the phone before I had my vehicle towed to their shop. However, the day after I had my vehicle delivered to them, I was called with a new quote DOUBLE what they had previously told me. I understand prices can vary, but to jump from $360 to over $600 is ridiculous. I asked the lady in the office (who was very nice) to please have one of the mechanics call me so we could discuss. No one called me. I also want to mention that the day I was physically at the shop, I walked right by a group of mechanics, and not one of the men so much as acknowledged or spoke to me. I'm really hoping they weren't trying to pull this on me because I'm female. I decided not to give them my business. I had my vehicle towed (again) from their shop to another local mechanic - who did the same exact job, plus more, for under $400. Females, beware of some of these businesses out there. Unfortunately the "good old boy" system is still alive and well."
