"Great restaurant. The greeter for the night was lovely. Food was very nice. There was a storm and the lights flickered off and the next thing we know we have our main course before we finished our salads. There was a good chance that the lights were going off again. Now we have finished we weren't offered coffee once we declined dessert. Wham bam thank you ma'am."

"This is a very nice restaurant, well lit and the tables aren't too close together. The service was excellent and we were served almost immediately some fantastic cornbread with whipped butter and a molasses and syrup mix that was delicious. We ordered the duck which was perfectly prepared. The collard greens with the garlic tasted fantastic together. The sweet potatoes served with the duck was a perfect paring. We ordered the the buttermilk whipped creamed potatoes were perfectly seasoned and needed no butter or salt. All together the best restaurant and dining experience so far. As a Sous Chef, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! Do NOT miss this restaurant! This restaurant is reason enough to come to Vicksburg, give the unkempt battlefield a miss and come to ROCA!"

"Came for lunch on a Saturday. Service was absolutely awful. Waited forever to be seated. We were given 2 small pieces of cornbread for our 15 minute wait. When the server finally came by, she said “yeah this is the table I haven’t gotten yet”. Then finally took our drink orders. I miss when this restaurant was at the country club. My advice: fire all your wait staff and start fresh. Food is excellent. The burger tastes like you actually cooked it over charcoal. The meat loaf was great too. Manager came over and offered free dessert. So made up for the rocky experience. Bumping my review from 1 star to 3."
