"Me Booking a Room for my Senior Mother: From the time of checking in, front desk associate was subpar at providing customer satisfaction! He was so focused on how my name read on my drivers license vs what was entered when my daughter PAID and booked the room, (to which Expedia was contacted for corrections). He provided a key with ZERO instructions- navigating me which end my room was on. I had my disabled client with me, might I add. He did not give, "what to expect, check in or check out times", nor did he iterate when compliment breakfast was. The bed in the room was decent, but there were no toiletries- (soap and shampoos). And to add insult to injury, the water would not get hot! Lastly when I attempted to enjoy the breakfast, as described ONLY on the website- all that was available was cold cereal, coffee, yogurt, and waffle options. And the next attendant was even less helpful or courteous. My goal was to stay another night but after my experience thats a HARD NO! Anyone traveling through Arkansas on the way to Memphis-(or whatever your occasion is) looking for room; your best bet would be to sleep in your vehicle before booking with this hotel! Overall: REPULSED"
"If there was a zero stars I would clicked that option. From the uncomfortable beds, dirty floors, falling vent covers, missing light bulbs, bad remodeling work the head board fell off on my co-workers bed in the middle of the night. I'm surprised this place is not temporary shut down for sanitary concerns. O' and too top it all off we had no hot water in the morning. Last time we stay here."
"This place needs better management. The room was basic which is fine but the floors are filthy. The front entrance to the main lobby is open because I the front door is broken. The breakfast was a joke. Nothing to choose from. The staff are indifferent. The lobby bathroom has no operating soap dispenser nor any way to dry your hands. Keep trucking. The only saving grace was that it had a decent Mexican Restaurant off the lobby."
"Horrid room. Black stuff on the spigot, black stuff in the fridge, curtains ripped, floor was sticky and dirty, and bathroom door wouldn’t shut. This was the WORST I’ve ever seen. Who does your cleaning? Geez! Disgusting. I wish I could get my money back."
"I’m BARELY able to stay here tonight simply because we brought our own pillows and won’t take a shower. READ WITH CAUTION!!!! Upon checkin I was given keys to 129 but when I got there, the light was on, food on the table, and bed not made. I knocked, used the key, poked my head inside and realized this room is definitely not made. When I went back to the desk to tell the clerk someone was in the room, he said “I don’t know what’s going on… do you want another room.” I replied “YES I want another room. This is someone else’s room. I don’t want them walking in while I’m sleeping.” Did he seriously think I’d keep the dirty room?!?! He gave me keys to room 133 where the misery deepened. There’s a bullet hole in the window, the curtains don’t close all the way (thank goodness was for my handy close hanger hack). The fridge, microwave, and all surfaces need a desperate dusting. 2 of the lights don’t work. There’s toothpaste on the sink and handle from the prior person. The tub still has hair in it. Under the bed my husband found an 800mg ibuprofen (we check before we let our little one wander the room), and enough filth to go through an entire container of swiffer wipes. Many of the drawers have hairs or their bottoms are pushing through. The desk chair is a definite toss off of some office reject with gum and pen stains like many of its kind. The lobby smells like smoke with a full restaurant and bar filing noise into the parking lot with gusto. The people wandering the parking lot make me feel like I may be taking rotations with my husband to keep an eye on our truck. Thank goodness I checked for bedbugs and we’re good there… and the bed is comfortable enough, with clean sheets, that we can get a good enough nights sleep without touching any other surface. If I hadn’t prepaid for this room on Expedia, I’d be canceling and finding another place in a heartbeat. Did I mention the tv doesn’t work. What else could possibly go wrong? WAIT, I don’t want to jinx myself… SAVE YOURSELF!!!!! DEMAND TO LOOK AT A ROOM BEFORE YOU PAY FOR THE NIGHT. Make sure you know what you’re getting. You may be fine with all this for whatever deal you get. I personally like my hotel rooms without the fear of contracting something that may require a vaccine or anti-itch cream. I’m NOT kidding how nasty that office chair is!"
