"Highly recommend this place! The food is outstanding my wife and I got salads and we’re trying to eat healthy but we saw the steaks and burgers coming out and immediately regretted our decision. But the salads were great and the dressings we got were house made. Had a small issue with an order, but it was made right immediately. It’s worth the short drive off the interstate."

"This is the second time we've been to this restaurant in a year as we head to TX to visit family, and both times, we've received tasty food and friendly service. This time we had the catfish basket and the shrimp basket...nice, light breading on the fish and shrimp, great crispy oblong/disk like fries, and a good little container of coleslaw. As we walked in, the door had a sign indicating that they were short on staff, but would do their best to provide good service...and that they did! The owner was the server, and he hustled his buns, taking orders, serving food, and following up on the needs of the customers. If you're in Forest City, stop in and give them a chance...it may take a bit longer to get your food, but it will be worth the wait!"

"Driving across country and got hungry near this town. Read some reviews and decided it was worth driving the 2 miles off the highway. Boy are we glad we did! Just a great little restaurant with a wonderful menu. Food was awesome, as was ices tea! Service couldn't have been better. We had burgers...HUGE, fries and onion rings. Scrumptious!! This is going in my book of travel favorites for sure!"
