"Stopped here for a quick dinner tonight. I was very pleased with the service and the food. The waiter (Ricky) was very polite, well mannered, and I felt appreciated as a customer. I had the seafood gumbo and the stuffed catfish. Both were very good choices. The portions were plentiful. I left feeling very full."

"Dining alone can be intimidating but when I showed up at Don's on a Saturday night to sit at the bar by myself, I felt so comfortable. I always love the food here, and as an actual Cajun person from the Acadiana area, that's saying something. Paige at the bar was so great, very attentive but didn't hover; anticipated every need. I love that kind of service. I had a great dinner experience. Any time I'm in the Covington area I always plan to make a stop here. They make the best gumbo I can get that's not made in my own kitchen."
"Good location, great service, nice food however I order seafood platter and the cat fish were too thin and dry. Stuffed shrimp is good and turtle cheese cake a perfect dessert. My favorite is Seafood Gumbo"
