"Today I called this store from another city. I explained to the worker that I was a reward member that had just lost everything I owned in a fire. She immediately offered her condolences and asked how could she be of assistance to me. After explaining I couldn't come there she proceeded to get my sizes and a list of the things I needed ( everything) she explained she had a customer and she was working the morning shift by herself So she would call me back. After a while went by my phone started going off with text messages of pictures of clothes and shoes for me to choose from. After I decided what I wanted she let me know what the total amount would be. Then proceeded to check my account, as well as all online discounts or deals available. Y'all I can not make all this up, this woman is a retail super star. I sent a friend of mine to pick it up. When he arrived it was ready and waiting for him.i cannot remember her name but who ever was working the Gulfport MS location on new year 2024 DXL you guys are lucky to have her. . In the midst of a life changing event for me she gave me service that took my mind off of my troubles and made me feel important thanks DXL. You have a customer for life."

"The people in the store are great, very helpful. The location is clean and organized, but crowded. One of the nicest dumping grounds for big and tall clothes you can find. Please give us a bigger, nicer store with more selection. Especially important are seasonally appropriate items. We are a beach resort area. We only wear long sleeve wool/twill gear maybe two weeks out of the year. And, shout out to Savanah, GA who apparently doesn't have many big men because they send us the most larger sized transfers. Thank you Savanah!"

"We’ve never had any issues up until our last visit that involved an exchange. We went in to exchange 3 items purchased online (never worn) and the manager had a fit. I told her that I’ll just mail the stuff back. She scolded that she’ll do it this time but isn’t going to do it again. I bit my tongue but only because my husband had a conference out of town in two days and I didn’t want to run around town trying to find his sizes. When she looked up our account, she was able to see that we’ve spent over $700 within the last year, and the majority of it was at her location. Funny how attitudes flip when dollar signs are involved but the employees are commission based after all. It helps me understand her ways but it certainly doesn’t excuse them. Aside from the drama, she can be rather pleasant and helpful. She is very knowledgeable and spot on when it comes to sizing and finding the perfect fit. She has to be one of the best they have in that area. The clothes are a bit over priced but they can get away with it because they cater to larger body types only. We will continue to shop here because it conveniently meets our needs and the clothes are stylish. I can only hope that corporate takes some pressure off of their employees. Talking down to customers isn’t going to stop them from returning items in the future. Why waste positive energy on something that’s unavoidable? Rant over."
